Jonny and April’s Tropical Waterfall Garden

by admin

Our names are Johnny and April and we are from Barnsley in the North of England. We recently moved into a brand new property with a rectangular lawn yard. Over the past five months, we have transformed our garden into the beginning of a tropical paradise. Its biggest feature is a waterfall without a pond. Neither of us had ever worked on a garden project before. However, we did all the work ourselves with the help of YouTube videos and online articles.

The plantings are all tropical themed, mostly with small plants that can be observed growing among themselves, including some large tree ferns and palms to ensure some height from the start.

The hard work has clearly paid off and a dramatic tropical atmosphere has already been established.

There is a great transition from formal pavement in the sitting area to more casual gravel paths for the rest of the garden. And the waterfall makes a great presentation. I’m sure it sounds great too!
